New to blogger

So i thought i'd simply start blogging, why? Well several reasons, firstly i hope to gain more viewers to my Youtube channel along with bring them over here and do what a lot of people seem to be trying to do these days and start a small community through Youtube but along with that i also desired that which almost all bloggers desire - a place to voice and discuss opinions from videos games to religion and politics to music and everything else in between.

So if figure a good way to start would be to tell you a little about myself although i really do suck at writing "about me" sections, and usually just writing in general :P but for the basics, i'm currently a full time college student studying computing, it's pretty basic stuff for me as i've been round computers for years and gaming consoles even longer which is probably why most of my free time is spent playing games, i'm quite the avid gamer, i do like to keep a large repertoire of game genres too instead of those COD boys who play that and nothing else which i see as a good thing.
An example of a game genre of which i've been enjoying lately is MMORPG's, the source of that is currently a small-medium-ish sized Free-to-Play game on Steam by the name of Pandora Saga which has been occupying some of my time lately as it tends to be a lot of fun if you can gather a small group of friends through Skype, Teamspeak or the like.

For those who don't know what Pandora Saga is, it's an MMORPG as previously mentioned and it had a tinge of an anime feel to it but without the exaggerated hair dos and weapons that are typical of games like Final fantasy and overall has a very nice feel and look to it with some very nice areas and aesthetics even though the game is somewhat dated.

The gameplay is typical of MMOs in that you have a hotbar (or several) that are filled with abilities and actions for combat but for the most part is simple clicking however with classes such as the cleric, my chosen class, your main battle effort rests on the hotbar actions such as that of buffs and heals for your party as clergy members aren't very well known for raw melee damage.

The game also has a thriving economy with the tools that allow players to set up "booths" where they can display an inventory of items and set a price for them, the player can then leave and sleep/watch tv/go out or the sort and while they are doing this the other players in the game will stop by and purchase the items you don't want which in my opinion is a very good system as players can set their own prices however it is somewhat difficult to actually make a sale when a player begins as if you have no knowledge of what an item is used for or how rare it is then you can't possibly make a comment on the price, this is further hindered as there isn't very much info on the internet other than incomplete wikis.

Overall i find the game very enjoyable and i do suggest you check it out as it is Free-to-play on Steam so if you don't like it then nothing lost but if you enjoy it then you've gained a new pass time and trust me, with a group of players this game can make time wasting as easy as it was with games like Oblivion xD

I hope you find enjoyment in Pandora Saga if you do decide to play it and also in reading my first attempt at a blog :)

Thanks for reading.
